Embark on a sturdy, aluminum-built boat to explore the scenic area around Tromsø. Your guide will share unique facts and fascinating stories about Tromsø and its former inhabitants. Learn about the man who lived in a "carousel" and attempted to catch foxes with a fishnet, the man who chose not to rescue the Titanic, and the intriguing tale of musk oxen smashing a local laboratory.
The guide will also keep an eye out for local wildlife such as eagles, seagulls, reindeer, and dolphins. As we are in Northern Norway, where it has traditionally been socially unacceptable to go to sea without fishing, we’ll see if we can get the cod to bite.
